Marilyn Callahan sworn in as new Guernsey County Recorder

Cambridge, Ohio – Marilyn Callahan was sworn in Friday by County Commissioner Dave Wilson as the new Guernsey County Recorder.

Callahan replaces retiring Recorder Colleen Wheatly who has worked for the county for 50 years and served as the recorder for over 25 years. Callahan has worked in the Recorder’s office for two and a half years. She mentioned she is excited to take over job responsibilities for the department.

Outgoing Recorder Wheatley commented at the event and said the county is left in good hands with Callahan because of her experience.

Callahan will run for re-election in 2024.
