Jack Marlin
President
Jack Marlin is the newest member of the Board of Commissioners, elected to the office in 2020. Previously, Jack served on Cambridge City Council for 13-years. He retired from Columbia Gas in 2018 after 40 years of service. After his retirement, Jack served as a volunteer for the Cambridge Municipal Court, in the court’s Community Service Department. Jack and his wife, Lori, were married in 1990 and are the parents of two adult children Abby and Emily. Jack is a member of the Cambridge Bible Church.

Dave Wilson
Vice President
Dave Wilson was elected as Commissioner in 2014. It was the first time he had run for public office. Dave was Operations Manager for Cambridge’s AVC Communications Radio Station Group for 32 years and was also the licensee of WBIK 92.1FM from its sign-on in 2002 until shortly after he took office. Dave and his wife, Cindy, were married in 1976 and are members of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge. They have two adult children, Emily and Steven, and two grandsons, Simon and Henry. Dave is a member of Cambridge High School’s Class of 1973.

Skip Gardner
Commissioner
While his full name is Ernest Gardner, Jr., he’s best known by his nickname, “Skip.” He was elected to his first term as Commissioner in 2012, previously serving as a member of Cambridge’s City Council for 13-years. Skip has a strong real estate background, beginning his career in sales and later as an appraiser. He also is a title abstractor, conducting land title searches in Guernsey and surrounding counties. Skip graduated from Cambridge High School in 1972. He married his late wife, Vickie, in 1988 and they are parents of three adult children: Curtis, Amber and Chad. They also have a granddaughter, Alexandria.
