Benjamin Bonnell sworn in as Guernsey County’s new EMA Director

Cambridge, Ohio – Benjamin Bonnell officially became Guernsey County’s new Director of the Emergency Management Agency.

Bonnell was sworn in Tuesday by Guernsey County Commissioner Dave Wilson. The event included Commissioners Skip Gardner, Jack Marlin and the EMA staff.

Bonnell replaces Amy McCance who recently resigned from the position.

Mr. Bonnell is a Cambridge resident and has worked as a paramedic and supervisor for United Ambulance and is a volunteer firefighter paramedic for the Cassell Station VFD. He also has worked as an EMT and a HazMat technician.

His staff members include Deputy Director Rusty Roberts, EMA Specialist Brenda Dolweck and EMA Coordinator Zetena Tague.
