2020 Remote Technology Grant for Video Conferencing

In 2020, the Clerk of Courts also obtained an additional Remote Technology Grant for $73,601.36. This additional funding made it possible for the office to add E-Filing to the current Case Management System. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was important to offer options to file with the Court other than in person, as well as reduce the traffic in the courthouse to lower the overall health risk.

On December 18, 2022, the Clerk of Courts became the Deputy Registrar for the BMV License Bureau. Renovations are under way for the new location. The new location will be located next to the Clerk of Courts Auto/Title Division. The renovations are expected to be completed in August of 2023 with the move taking place in September. We are very excited and will plan for an open house soon after the move. Details to be determined at a later date.
